Familiarization Flight (Fam Flight/ Intro Flight)
The Fam Flight is the first lesson in everyone’s flight training. During the fam flight, you will be our student for one flight during which we will introduce you to the foundational exercises for your flight training, show you some landmarks, and when a suitable occasion arises, an opportunity will be given to handle the controls.
This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about flying. You can log this flight and use it as credit later when you formally begin your flight training. During the session, your instructor will provide you with the following types of instruction.
- Pre-Flight Briefing
- In-Flight Instruction
- Post-Flight Briefing (Debrief)
Making a Reservation
Reservations can be made by calling our office. You can also submit the reservation request form below and a staff member will contact you to schedule the flight. Reservations require a refundable* deposit of C$150 which can be used toward the payment of the flight. The session may last between 30 to 60 minutes and the cost of the session is calculated our hourly rate.
